Troops to Teachers is a national program that provides registered participants counseling and support services to help them prepare for a second career in teaching. The national office oversees the program, registers program participants, and disburses financial assistance to eligible participants. Each state or regional office provides program participants with information regarding factors to consider in making you're a career transition into public school teaching, understanding state certification requirements, locating programs leading to certification, understanding the demand for teachers within the state or region and locating teaching position.
