The Student Council for Exceptional Children is an organization of over 11,500 members worldwide that offers opportunities for college students from any major to increase their awareness of, and involvement with, children and adolescents with disabilities. SCEC is affiliated with the Council for Exceptional Children, which publishes internationally recognized journals, sponsors national conventions, and lobbies for the interests of people with disabilities in Congress. SCEC also offers 17 divisions that allow you access to information in more specialized areas within the field.
