College of Education Scholarships

The College of Education awards scholarships at both the departmental and college levels each year. Many of the scholarships are possible through the generous gifts of alumni, friends and faculty. As the scholarship selection process can be very competitive, students should carefully review each scholarship eligibility requirements and diligently follow the application instructions.

Only students who have been officially admitted (or programmed) to the College of Education are eligible to apply for College of Education Scholarships.

Review the scholarship offerings in the General Scholarships category and in the Department of major. Students may apply for a maximum of:

  • 3 general education scholarships and/or
  • 3 departmental scholarships

Submit one complete application packet. Incomplete packets will not be considered. All students who apply for a scholarship will be notified of decisions.

Application Packet Checklist:

  • Completed Application form. Download and complete the printable application: Application Form
  • One-page (double-spaced) essay describing your need for scholarship support, FAU activities, educational aspirations, and career goals after graduation.
  • A letter of Recommendation from a FAU faculty member
  • Additional documentation per scholarship requirements

Email your application and all supporting materials to COEScholarships@fau.edu Applications and all supplemental materials must be received by the established deadline. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
