Department of Teacher Education

MASTER’S DEGREE (M.Ed.) in CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION

The Department of Teacher Education offers a program of studies leading to a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. Review policies and procedures for more details information about the M.Ed. program.

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction program, students must complete the graduate application and provide documentation that they:

  1. have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
  2. have a Professional (five year) Florida certificate or be certifiable in Florida;
  3. have satisfactory GRE (Graduate Record Examination) scores that are not more than 5 years old;
  4. have a 2.5, or better, on the last 60 semester hours of undergraduate work prior to the granting of the bachelor’s degree and a score of 1000, or better, on the general section of the Graduate Record Examination (quantitative and verbal combined–not analytical),
    OR
    have a 3.0, or better, on the last 60 semester hours of undergraduate work prior to the granting of the bachelor’s degree and a score of 800, or better, on the general section of the Graduate Record Examination (quantitative and verbal combined–not analytical);
  5. have been approved for admission by the department of Teacher Education
