Initial funding for this program was provided by Dr. Robert Parks, Broward County School Board member and Director of the Teaching and Leadership Center. Through Dr. Parks' ongoing commitment, the Broward Teacher Fellowship has raised over $100,000 for scholarships thus far.

Additional funding is provided by the Broward Education Foundation, the registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for the Broward County School District, the Florida Pre-paid College Tuition Foundation, local corporations, and the following institutions who are contributing matching scholarships to qualified Urban Teaching Academy graduates:
