- District’s New Educator Support System (NESS) on-site mentor
- TLC online mentor database for additional assistance and resources
- Learning Communities through cohort participation

- Teaching in the critical content area
- Classroom management seminars monthly through varied delivery methods
- District’s New Teacher Academy (NTA)

| Certification Options through FAU with graduate courses in reading offered through NSU |
- Fifteen semester hours of non-traditional course-by-course undergraduate and
graduate college credit through FAU in the following professional education areas:
- Classroom management including safe learning environments
- Human development and learning
- Educational assessment to include the content measured by state achievement tests and the interpretation of data to improve student achievement
- Effective instructional strategies including the needs of diverse learners
- Curriculum and special methods of teaching in the content area
- Foundations of research-based practices in teaching reading
- Graduate level courses offered by NSU in researched based practices in teaching reading through the District’s Virtual University
